Michael Ruthven – Chairman.

Managing Director of Whitbread's South West responsible for 2500 pubs up until he left in 1974 to set up Buccaneer.

Tim Ruthven – Managing Director

Originally worked for Moreland's Brewery, Hall & Woodhouse & Finch's, before moving to London & working with Whitbread's where he ran twelve managed houses.

Andrew Jones – Operations Director

Started with Buccaneer at the age of sixteen, ran two pubs in Oxford at the age of twenty & is now a director & part owner of the company.

Wendy Hyett – Company Secretary

Was Michael's secretary at Whitbread's & moved with him when he set up Buccaneer. Wendy now runs head office & works closely with our outside accountants & payroll department.
